The Greenline Mela, organized on the Don Bosco,
Matunga campus on 5th March, 2016 was attended by Nature Club enthusiasts
Chaitanya, Akarsh, Suraj, Jenil and Devansh, along with Ms. Barkha. This was
followed by the awards ceremony of the Green Schools Campaign. The students benefitted from a number of
workshops on butterfly gardening, origami, creative expression, clay
modelling, digital photography, etc. in which they participated and got first
hand experience. The students also enjoyed a workshop conducted
by environment cartoonist Mr. Rohan Chakravarty, who taught them how to draw
wildlife cartoons highlighting environmental issues. The teachers too had an interesting session on
mushroom cultivation.
